Program Description:
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County have partnered to develop the Regional Recycled Water Program, which will create a new, sustainable water supply for Southern California. The program will start with a demonstration facility and could eventually become one of the largest advanced water treatment plants in the world. At full build-out, this $3.4 billion project would include a 150-mgd advanced water treatment plant, pumping stations, and over 60 miles of conveyance pipelines. Come and learn about the project details, project status, and plans for implementation.
