The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County have partnered to develop the Regional Recycled Water Program, which will create a new, sustainable water supply for Southern California. The program will start with a demonstration facility and could eventually become one of the largest advanced water treatment plants in the world.
